This project is a further progress of the approach explored in Discordian Chess, i.e. the use of tabletop games as a medium and a communication device. The three games that were developed for Home Sweet Home focus on different aspects of housing, which are described analytically through the rules of the games. The rules themselves set up a structured system within which the players are enabled to construct their own narrative around housing while they play the game.
All the materials of the project are available for free download here.
Home Sweet Home was my final project for the MA Design: Critical Practice at Goldsmiths University and it was a part of the 2011 Making Believe exhibition.
